The LEGAL Stuff….

Renters must meet certain requirements and bring the proper documents with them to pick up the Jeep:

  • Valid driver’s license (25 years or older)
  • Credit card in same name as driver's license
  • Proof of valid/current full coverage automobile insurance
  • Any additional drivers need driver's license and proof of full coverage automobile insurance
  • Yes, you can pay cash, but we still need to authorize a valid credit card.

Credit Card Requirements: To qualify to rent a Red Rock Adventure Rentals Vehicle, the renter must present at the time of rental a current driver’s license and valid major credit card in the renter's own name with available credit. At the time of rental, an authorization will be secured on the credit/debit card provided, to cover the estimated rental charges and any additional requested equipment charges that may be inccured. These funds will not be available for your use. Additional authorizations (holds) will be obtained if the vehicle is not returned on the date/time noted on the Rental Agreement or if the original terms of the rental agreement are violated during the rental period.

Insurance: Red Rock Adventure Rentals does not sell collision damage coverage or insurance. You must have valid full coverage auto insurance. With most insurance companies in most states, if you carry a “full coverage” auto policy on your own vehicle, it covers you in any vehicle you are driving, including rental cars. This is the “collision” or “comprehensive” part of your policy. It is your "collision" or "comprehensive" coverage that covers you as a driver in any vehicle you are operating, including a Red Rock Adventure Rental Jeep. We know that mishaps do happen, scuffs and scrapes, chipped or cracked windshields even blown or torn tires. Please refer to the FAQ page for more information and related costs in the event one of our customers has a mishap while out on their adventure.
